Ex-Blackhawks on the move this off-season via trades, FA signings

A handful of ex-Blackhawks have been on the move since the start of the 2015 NHL Draft.  Here is a list of those that have found new homes via trade, free agency or have re-signed with their teams.  I'm sure the Blackhawks are not finished yet with Marcus Kruger awaiting a contract and possible moves for Bryan Bickell and/or Kris Versteeg.

Long time veteran, F Patrick Sharp along with D Stephen Johns, were traded to the Dallas Stars for D Trevor Daley and F Ryan Garbutt.

D Johnny Oduya signed a free agent contract with the Dallas Stars, at 2 years for $7.5million.

F Brandon Saad was traded along with D Michael Paliotta and F Alex Broadhurst to the Columbus Blue Jackets for F Artem Anisimov, F Marko Dano, F Jeremy Morin, F Corey Tropp, and 2016 4th-round pick.

G Antti Raanta was traded to the New York Rangers for F Ryan Haggerty.

San Jose G Antti Niemi was traded to the Dallas Stars for a 2015 seventh-round (No. 193) draft pick.  Niemi then signs a three-year contract extension worth $13.5million ($4.5mil per).

Anaheim D James Wisniewski was traded to the Carolina Hurricanes for G Anton Khudobin.

D Klas Dahlbeck, signed a one-year contract with the Arizona Coyotes for $605k.

RW Mike Blunden re-signs with the Tampa Bay Lightning to a one-year contract.

LW Viktor Stalberg signs a one-year contract for $1.1million with the New York Rangers.

RW Jimmy Hayes was traded to the Boston Bruins for RW Reilly Smith and the contract of Marc Savard.

C Brad Richards signed a one-year, $3million contract with the Detroit Red Wings.

RW Michael Frolik signed a five-year contract worth $21.5million ($4.3mil per) with the Calgary Flames.

C Antoine Vermette signs a two-year contract with the Arizona Coyotes worth $7.5million ($3.75mil per).

D Mike Kostka signs a one-year deal with the Ottawa Senators worth $800k.

G Anders Nilsson was traded to the Edmonton Oilers for F Liam Couhhlin.
Vancouver Canuck D Adam Clendening was traded along with Nick Bonino and a 2016 2nd round draft pick to the Pittsburgh Penguins for C Brandon Sutter and a 2016 3rd round draft pick.

And probably the saddest news of an ex-Hawk moving on, fan favorite, RW Troy Brouwer, along with G Phoenix Copley, and a 2016 third-round pick was traded from the Washington Capitals to the St. Louis Blues for C T.J. Oshie.  Our condolences to our dear friend, Troy.

LET'S GO HAWKS!!!
