A Toast To Captain Serious, Jonathan Toews

Chicago Blackhawks center, Jonathan Toews, has been decorated in a great many ways over his NHL career.

4-time NHL All-Star (2009, 2011, 2012 *, 2015) - * Missed because of injury
2-time Olympic Gold Medalist (2010, 2014)
3-time Stanley Cup winner (2010, 2013, 2015)
Conne Smythe Trophy winner (Playoff MVP) (2010)
Frank J. Selke Trophy winner (Most gentlemanly player) (2013)
Mark Messier Leadership Award (2015)

And now?  Some would say the most prestigious honor of all?  He now has a beer named after him.  Hailstorm Brewing Co., located in Tinley Park, IL, have created a beer for him and named it appropriately, 'Captain Serious #19'.

The beer is claimed, by Hailstorm, to be a "dry, hoppy, west coast style pale ale brewed with Simcoe, Mosaic, and Galaxy hops.  It's 45 IBU and 5.6% ABV".
Don't expect to be able to purchase this in a bottle and have it sent to you.  They claim it is only available 'in the tap room' at Hailstorm.

Hailstorm is doing this in an attempt to get the Stanley Cup to make a visit to their establishment.  Pretty good way to catch their attention if you ask me.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'd be willing to take a drive and make a toast to arguably one of the greatest NHL Captains ever. Here's to you, CAPTAIN, MY CAPTAIN!!!

LET'S GO HAWKS!!!
